STAR Student Program & Weekly Assembly
At DaySpring Academy, we believe that learning should be fun, rewarding, and encouraging. Our STAR Student Program is designed to recognize positive behavior, celebrate accomplishments, and help children develop confidence, responsibility, and a healthy self-esteem.
Each Friday, students gather for a school-wide assembly that promotes a sense of community and belonging. Assemblies provide opportunities for singing, storytelling, group discussions, character development, celebrating achievements, and sharing important school announcements.
Each week, teachers select STAR Students who are celebrated in the classroom. STAR Students are also recognized during assembly, receive certificates and awards, and enjoy special classroom responsibilities such as serving as a class leader or teacher's helper.
