At DaySpring Academy, we offer a comprehensive full-day preschool program designed to nurture the whole child. Through a balanced combination of structured learning, purposeful play, hands-on exploration, and meaningful social experiences, we help children develop the academic, social, emotional, behavioral, and cognitive skills they need for future success.

Positive Behavior Support
At DaySpring Academy, we believe that children learn best in a positive and supportive environment. Our school-wide behavior support system is based on the principles of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS).
We focus on teaching and reinforcing appropriate behaviors, building strong relationships, and helping children develop the social and emotional skills needed to succeed. When challenges arise, we use positive, developmentally appropriate strategies to guide behavior and support each child's growth. When necessary, we collaborate with families and behavioral professionals to ensure children receive the support they need to be successful.

Literacy Program
Our literacy program builds a strong foundation for reading and writing through phonics, storytelling, vocabulary development, print awareness, and early writing experiences. Children develop the skills and confidence needed to become successful readers and communicators.
Science Program
Our science program encourages children to explore, question, observe, investigate, and experiment as they discover how the world around them works. We focus on developing curiosity and scientific thinking, recognizing that the learning process is often more important than finding the "right" answer.
Motor Skills Program
Children participate in a variety of fun, age-appropriate activities that strengthen both large and small muscle groups while improving balance, coordination, and body control. These experiences help build the physical skills needed for play, independence, handwriting, self-care, and overall school readiness.

STEM Program
Our STEM program encourages children to explore Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics through hands-on activities, experiments, building challenges, and problem-solving opportunities. These engaging experiences foster curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, and a love of discovery.
Extra Curricular Program
Our extracurricular programs, including swimming, karate, tennis, and music, help children develop confidence, coordination, discipline, creativity, and new interests beyond the classroom. We believe that learning to swim is an essential life skill that promotes water safety and helps prevent drowning.
Creative Arts Program
Our creative arts program encourages children to express themselves through art, music, dramatic play, and imaginative activities that spark creativity and curiosity. These experiences help develop critical thinking, problem-solving skills, self-expression, and a love for learning.
